Realme C35 is a smartphone for budget-conscious audiences with a modern design, a good camera, and decent performance. This is the reason this phone is still popular among Nepali audiences despite being launched more than a year ago.

Realme C35 Overview

Design

Starting with the design, the C35 is among the first phones in Realme’s budget lineup to sport a flat design.

This, together with the rectangular island with the triangular camera lineup, makes the phone look like a cheap iPhone knock-off.

That said, Realme has added some flair of its own. For instance, the rear panel has this reflective finish that Realme calls Dynamic Glowing Design.

The phone measures 8.1mm in thickness and weighs around 187 grams — making it among the lightest and thinnest phones in the C series.

Display

Realme C35 does lose some of its charm when flipped.

To start off, it sports a traditional water-drop notch, which looks out of place even in the budget smartphone segment today.

Also, the bezels around the screen are quite noticeable. 

Apart from this, the display looks alright. It is a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with an FHD resolution.

You still don’t get the trendy 60Hz refresh rate, but you do get 180Hz touch sampling rate.

The brightness level is decent as well, maxing out at 600 nits.

Camera

The other selling point of the Realme C35 is the cameras. There are a total of four cameras, including the one on the front.

The triple camera setup at the back is headlined by a 50MP primary sensor. It takes 12MP photos by default and has a dedicated 50MP mode when you need that extra details.

Accompanying it is a 4cm macro camera and a monochrome lens. Over on the font, you get an 8MP front-facing selfie camera. 

Performance and Memory

Powering the phone is the Tiger T616 mobile processor from Unisoc. The chip is built on a 12nm process node and features eight CPU cores.

This includes two Cortex-A75 performance cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The graphics are handled by the ARM Mali-G57 GPU.

You can choose from 4GB and 6GB of  LPDDR4X RAM. Likewise, the storage options include 64GB and 128GB UFS 2.2.

In addition, you can expand the storage up to 1TB using a MicroSD card.

Rest of the Specs

Realme C35 packs a 4890mAh cell advertised as a 5,000mAh battery. It is compatible with Realme’s 18W fast charging technology. Fortunately, there is an 18W power brick in the box.
