Email for every stage, from the first sign-up to after someone cancels

Onboarding, lead generation, education, license renewal and post-cancellation flows, plus sales campaigns like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Flows I’ve created
  1. User onboarding
  2. Lead generation, from resource to purchase
  3. Education subscription
  4. License renewal
  5. Post-cancellation
  6. Sales campaigns, including BFCM

When this is the right service

  • People sign up and never come back.
  • You collect email addresses and nothing follows.
  • You want to teach subscribers something before you ask them to buy.
  • Licenses expire and customers quietly fall back to the free version.
  • People cancel and you hear nothing afterwards.
  • A sales campaign is coming and the emails are not written.

Flows I’ve created

Onboarding

User onboarding lifecycle

The emails a new user receives after signing up, built to get them from sign-up to using the product.

One I built for free sign-ups had four emails: the resource with quick links, a short note from the founder, a walkthrough of the main features, and a feedback email offering a free demo. The brand’s selling point was that it felt personal, and people replied to the founder’s note more than to the support address.

Lead generation

From resource to purchase

A visitor gives an email address in exchange for a resource. A flow then follows up and moves them toward a purchase.

Education

Education email subscription

A subscription that teaches subscribers over time, so they know what you do before you ask them to buy.

Renewal

License renewal and expiry

The flow checks each customer’s renewal date and whether auto-renew is on. If it is off, they get a reminder 30 days before the license expires and another on the expiry date.

A few days later, an email explains why renewing matters: without a license they fall back to the free version. A few days after that comes a discount that is valid for two days. If they still have not renewed, a last email from the founder asks what went wrong, and they can reply or fill in a form.

Post-cancellation

After someone cancels

The emails a person receives once they have cancelled, built to win them back. Asking for feedback comes last, if nothing else brings them back.

Campaigns

Sales campaigns, including BFCM

Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales emails, and other campaigns built the same way.

How I work on email

One flow, one job

Each flow has a single goal, such as first use, a purchase or a return, and every email in it moves toward that goal.

Written from facts

I write from facts you give me and facts I can check, and I flag anything I cannot verify. You read every email before it goes live.

Every link tagged

Links in a campaign follow one naming rule for source, medium and campaign, so you can compare results across campaigns. I built a free UTM builder for this.

Handed over to run

You get the flows written down: what each email says, when it sends and why, so you can run them after I hand over.

Platforms I have used: MailPoet and Brevo.

How it runs

Step 1 · Free

A site check

You send me your site. I look from the outside and email what Google sees, what is costing you visitors, and what to fix first. I take 1 to 3 sites a week.

Step 2

You decide

The list is yours to keep. If you want me to do the work, we agree a one-off project or a retainer.

Step 3

The work

One project at a time, a weekly call, and a summary at the end of what I built, what I measured and what to do next.

Questions

Do you guarantee more sales or sign-ups?

No. Nobody can honestly promise that. I show you what each flow does and what I measured.

Do I need an email list already?

No. Some flows, like the resource-to-purchase one, are how a list starts. Others, like onboarding and post-cancellation, work with the people you already have.

How do I know which email did what?

Every link is tagged with one naming rule, so your analytics shows which email and which campaign each visit came from.

What does it cost?

It depends on the role I take, how long it runs and the scope. You get a price and a date together after the free check.
